Community Conversation
Accessibility at the library? Come talk to us about it!
Ellsworth Public Library wants to hear from you on how we can improve the accessibility of our building, services, and programs. The library’s mission is to serve all members of the community, but for some, there might be barriers which prevent them from using the library.
Join us for a discussion on making the library more accessible to determine the best use of awarded grant funds. In this 60-minute chat, representatives from Ellsworth Public Library, Pierce County Aging and Disability Resource Center, and Friends of the Ellsworth Public Library will facilitate a discussion about existing access issues, ideas for addressing the issues, and possible next steps.
?????If you require any special accommodations, please contact library director Tiffany Meyer at tmeyer@ellsworthpubliclibrary.org.
This event is offered as part of Libraries Transforming Communities: Accessible Small and Rural Communities, an initiative of the American Library Association (ALA) in collaboration with the Association for Rural &?Small Libraries (ARSL).
We invite you to call the library at 715-273-3209 to save a spot or to schedule a one-on-one chat if you are unable to attend on October 10.
